Talk to the Sky

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Talk to the Sky is an AI text-message assistant operated by Ryan Sajdak (Sole Proprietor), Buffalo, NY, USA. Subscribers send a question or request by SMS and receive an AI-generated reply. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

SMS / mobile information disclosures:

Information we collect

How we use it

We use your number and consent record to send the replies and service messages you requested. To generate a reply, the text you send is processed by a third-party AI provider (OpenAI) under their API terms. If you use a location-logging feature, the coordinates you send are stored so you can retrieve them. We do not use your messages for advertising, and we do not sell your data.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help operate Talk to the Sky (our SMS carrier and our AI provider), and only as needed to deliver the service. As stated above, opt-in and consent data is never shared with third parties, and no mobile information is shared for marketing purposes.

Retention

Conversation context is kept only briefly and rolls off with use. Your consent record is kept while you remain subscribed and for a reasonable period afterward to document consent, then deleted.

Your choices
